Prompt template
Read this contract as the freelancer signing it, not as the company that wrote it. [textarea: paste the full contract, or just the clauses you are unsure about] Job value: [text: total fee] I have [dropdown: plenty of leverage, some leverage, very little leverage] here. Sort what you find into three piles: clauses that would genuinely hurt me, clauses that are unusual but survivable, and boilerplate I can ignore. For the first pile only, give me replacement wording I can paste straight into a reply. Pay particular attention to payment terms, ownership of the work, indemnity, and how either side gets out of it. I am not after legal advice, just a read on where the risk sits.
