Deploy to Cloudflare Workers skill for Claude and Codex
Deploy to Cloudflare Workers as an AI skill. It asks for Worker purpose, Entry file and language, Bindings needed and 3 more, then does the rest. Free to…
Install it once and Claude or Codex runs it for you. When your request matches, your AI loads the skill, asks for anything it is missing, and works through the template itself. Prefer to fill it in by hand? See the full prompt template.

When it is used
Use when a Cloudflare Worker is ready to ship and needs its wrangler config, bindings, routes, secrets and rollback path worked out. Do not use for writing the Worker's request-handling logic or tuning cache rules. Related topics: devops, coding.
What it will ask you for
- Worker purpose (longer free text)
- Entry file and language (free text, e.g. "src/index.ts")
- Bindings needed (choose any: KV, D1, R2, Durable Objects, Queues, Service binding, None)
- Route or domain (free text, e.g. "Pattern such as example.com/api/*")
- Secret names (longer free text)
- Environments (choose one: Production only, Staging and production, Dev and staging and production)
How it works
- Write the wrangler configuration with a separate environment block for each environment and its own binding resources.
- Give the creation command and config entry for every selected binding, using distinct resource names per environment.
- Define routes explicitly and confirm none overlap another Worker.
- List the secrets by name with the command that sets each, and check none appear in the config.
- Lay out the staged test sequence, then the rollback steps including what a code rollback leaves behind in storage.
What you get
A wrangler config, a binding and resource table, a secrets list, a four-stage test sequence, rollback steps and a list of platform limits to check.
What it watches out for
- Sharing one KV or D1 resource between staging and production, so a test run overwrites live data.
- Assuming rollback restores data, when only the code returns to the earlier version.
- Using a broad route pattern that captures traffic meant for another Worker.
How to install
Claude.ai and the Claude desktop app
- Download the skill .zip.
- Open Settings, then Capabilities, and find Skills.
- Choose Upload skill and select the .zip.
- Ask Claude for help with the task. It loads the skill when your request matches.
Claude Code
- Download the skill .zip.
- Unzip it into ~/.claude/skills/ (or .claude/skills/ inside a project).
- Start a new session. Claude Code loads the skill when your request matches.
Codex
- Download the skill .zip.
- Unzip it into ~/.agents/skills/ (or .agents/skills/ inside a project).
- Codex picks it up on its own. Type $ and the skill name to use it, or just ask for the task.
Cursor
- Download the Cursor rule (.mdc).
- Save it in .cursor/rules/ inside your project.
- Cursor's agent applies the rule when your request matches its description.
AGENTS.md (Codex, Cursor, and other coding agents)
- Copy the AGENTS.md section.
- Paste it into AGENTS.md at the root of your repository, creating the file if needed.
- Coding agents that read AGENTS.md follow it when your request fits.
