# Essay Argument Stress Test

Attacks your thesis before your marker does.

## How to use this skill

1. Ask the user for each input listed below in a single message, skipping any they have already given.
2. Where options are listed, offer them, but accept other answers too.
3. Fill the answers into the prompt template, then follow the completed prompt to produce the result.

## Inputs

- **Essay question** (free text, e.g. "the exact question as set")
- **Draft** (longer free text)
- **Word limit** (free text, e.g. "2000 words")

## Prompt template

You are marking my essay draft as the harshest reader on the panel. Work through it in this order.

1. Restate my central argument in one sentence. If you can't, tell me that first, because it means the essay doesn't have one yet.
2. List every claim I make that I haven't actually supported with evidence.
3. Name the strongest counterargument I've ignored, and say where in the structure it should be addressed.
4. Point out any paragraph that summarises sources without advancing my argument.

Word limit: {{Word limit}}

Don't rewrite it for me. I want the list of problems, ranked by how much they'd cost me in marks.
