# Visas, Transit Rules and the Layover That Might Not Work

Checks an itinerary for the entry and transit requirements that get people turned away at the gate.

## How to use this skill

1. Ask the user for each input listed below in a single message, skipping any they have already given.
2. Where options are listed, offer them, but accept other answers too.
3. Fill the answers into the prompt template, then follow the completed prompt to produce the result.

## Inputs

- **Paste the full itinerary including flight numbers** (longer free text)
- **Passport nationality (or nationalities** (free text, e.g. "Passport nationality (or nationalities")
- **Country of residence** (free text, e.g. "Country of residence")
- **Input 4** (choose one: Tourism, Business, Visiting family, Transit only)
- **Passport expiry date** (free text, e.g. "Passport expiry date")
- **Input 6** (choose one: Yes, No)

## Prompt template

Check this itinerary for the paperwork and transit problems that get people stopped at check-in rather than at the border.

- {{Paste the full itinerary including flight numbers}}
- {{Passport nationality (or nationalities}}
- {{Country of residence}}
- {{Input 4}}
- {{Passport expiry date}}
- {{Input 6}} I have checked bags on the whole journey

Go through it in order. For each country I enter or transit, tell me whether my nationality needs a visa or an electronic authorisation in advance, whether the six-month passport validity rule bites, and whether the layover requires clearing immigration or collecting bags. Say which connections are too tight once terminal changes and immigration queues are counted, and which are fine on paper but risky if the inbound is late.

End with a short list of what I need to arrange before departure and roughly how long each takes to come through. Where a rule changes often enough that my answer could be out of date, say so and point me at the official source to confirm against.
