# User Flow Mapper

Map the flow, then find the step where everyone leaves.

## How to use this skill

1. Ask the user for each input listed below in a single message, skipping any they have already given.
2. Where options are listed, offer them, but accept other answers too.
3. Fill the answers into the prompt template, then follow the completed prompt to produce the result.

## Inputs

- **The task** (free text, e.g. "What the user is trying to accomplish")
- **Every step today** (longer free text)
- **How people arrive here** (longer free text)
- **Where they drop** (longer free text)
- **Constraints I cannot remove** (longer free text)

## Prompt template

## Flow audit

- The task: {{The task}}
- Every step today: {{Every step today}}
- How people arrive here: {{How people arrive here}}
- Where they drop: {{Where they drop}}
- Constraints I cannot remove: {{Constraints I cannot remove}}

Map it including the branches and error states people actually hit, not the happy path.

Against each step, mark what the user has to decide or provide, because friction is usually a decision they are not ready to make yet.

Then tell me which steps could be removed, deferred, or given a sensible default, and propose the shorter version with what it costs. Where a constraint forces friction, suggest how to at least explain it.
